I had three false teeth in a bridge and I lost the bridge with the teeth. Will home owner's insurance cover

any of it? (I am talking in general since I know that there are some variations in home owner%26#039;s policies.) It is going to cost me $4000 to go to a dentist and have a new one put in.

I had three false teeth in a bridge and I lost the bridge with the teeth. Will home owner%26#039;s insurance cover
Homeowners policies don%26#039;t cover your stuff for %26quot;oops I lost it%26quot;. Stuff (including your false teeth) is covered on a named perils basis - fire, theft, windstorm (with limitations), vehicular damage, etc.

So generally, no, it%26#039;s not covered for %26quot;I lost it%26quot; or %26quot;the dog ate it%26quot; or %26quot;I ran over it with the lawnmower%26quot;.

Sorry.
Reply:My guess is gonna be NO but call your agent and ask.
Reply:No... there is no coverage for this and it is not the same as jewelry. Jewelry is not covered if it is lost, unless you %26quot;schedule%26quot; the jewelry piece by piece with appraisals on your policy. Your teeth are not your jewelry.... sorry.
Reply:No. In fact I had someone in the same situation with a hearing aid. Sorry.
